Everything you need to know before booking a private chauffeur in the Pays de Gex: legal framework, communes covered, premium fleet, specialised services, best practices. For both frontier commuters booking several trips a week and international visitors on stay, event or mission.

What is a VTC in the Pays de Gex?

A VTC (Private Hire Vehicle) operates only on reservation, with identified driver and vehicle, at a fare communicated in advance — unlike a taxi which can be hailed in the street. In the Pays de Gex, demand has exploded thanks to three drivers: cross-border workers (70% of locals work in Geneva), CERN and international organisations, and alpine/thermal tourism. Hello Taxi VTC serves these demanding use cases: frontier-trained drivers, rigorously maintained fleet, 24/7 availability, transparent fixed pricing.
